Privacy and terms
Podapalooza is run by Entrepreneurs Rocket Fuel, LLC. Our official Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions apply to the portal. This page explains, in plain words, what the portal does with your information.
What the portal keeps
- Your name, email, phone (for event-day support) and time zone.
- For VIP speakers and Main Stage speakers: your talk, bio, audience, headshot and links.
- For Featured Podcasters: your show details, cover art, links, your gift for attendees and, if you share them, ranges for your audience size.
- The times you're available, the podcasts or guests you select, and your interview schedule.
Who sees what
- Featured Podcasters see VIP speaker profiles so they can choose their guests.
- VIP speakers (and General Admission attendees, when selecting is open) see Featured Podcaster show profiles.
- When an interview is booked, the VIP and the podcaster get one email together with each other's name, email and details, so they can connect.
- The public Gifts and Links page shows each Featured Podcaster's show, links and gift.
- The Podapalooza team sees everything, so we can run the event and help you. Audience-size answers and anything you tell us about your needs are seen only by the team.
- Nobody sees who said no to them.
Emails
The portal sends the emails you need for the event, through Resend: your login link, welcome, reminders, your interview details and schedule changes. Podapalooza news comes from ActiveCampaign, and you can unsubscribe from those at any time.
When your Podapalooza interview episode goes live, Podapalooza and Encore Replay (both part of Kimberly Crowe's businesses) may let you know. To do that, we share each interview's host, guest, show and time with Encore Replay after the event.
The short version of the terms
- Tickets are non-refundable, as set out in our Terms. If you can't attend, write to us: our team can sometimes move your ticket to someone else.
- Sessions may be recorded and shared. Podatorium interviews are recorded by the host podcaster, who publishes the episode on their own show, on their own schedule. To opt out of being recorded, tell us in writing before the event.
- Interviews depend on availability and on both sides saying yes, so the number of interviews isn't guaranteed.
- Please be kind, on time and camera-ready. We may remove anyone who is disrespectful to other attendees.
